Description[]

The Su-27 Flanker is a twin-engine aircraft designed for long-range sorties with a high weapons capacity. Because of its numerous weapon hardpoints, it can participate in a wide range of operations. Su-27s have many production models, some of which are based on technology demonstrators used to test the use of thrust vectoring and canard foreplanes.

Most modern variants of the Su-27 are designed for export. Additionally, they are commonly variants of the Su-30 branch of the Flanker family.
