The ultimate realisation of the F-15's ground attack capability, the aircraft has been radically modified with a new delta wing configuration to increase weapon capacity and endurance to even greater levels, while maintaining performance at both low and high speeds. However, the design also limits the aircraft's agility, and the aircraft often requires a dedicated fighter unit to escort it into the battlefield. However, once on target, the Royal Eagle's role between a strategic bomber and a strike fighter can be viewed with impressive results.
