Aptly nicknamed the "Brick", this uniquely designed interceptor lacks wings entirely, making room for unusual equipment.

Description[]
This usually designed aircraft utlilises an advanced 'lifting-body' concept that provides substantial lift energy without the need for wings. Of course, lacking wings greatly hinders its agility, though a set of large canards have been installed in an attempt to marginally correct this. Additionally, all fuel, weapons, and other components usually installed within the wings have been moved into the fuselage, restricting both range and weapons carriage. The AFTI compensates for this by being somewhat more stealthy than conventially-designed aircraft, with narrow air intakes designed to minimize radar cross-section and a simplistic fuselage shape designed to minimise sharp angles when viewed from the front or the side, allowing the AFTI to make quick, surgical strikes against heavily armored or protected ground structures.
